Co-Op Local Community Fund

Do you realise that you can help the Team when you’re out shopping? Well you can! It’s easy to do and there’s no extra cost to you.

If you have a Co-op card you can support us through their ‘Local Community Fund’. 1% of whatever you spend on selected own-brand products & services (until October 2020) will then go to us.

Just apply in-store for a card if you haven’t already got one. Simply register as a Co-op Member and then use the following link to select ClevelandMRT:

Thank you to everyone who has already supported us via the Co-op. Up until 21st September 2020 over £4,600 has been raised for the Team in this way!

The Co-op Community Funding will be used to train and qualify our volunteers so that we can continue to offer a Water and Flood Rescue service to our local community.

Remember, we only have until October 2020 to benefit from this fund so please don’t delay. Please encourage your family, friends and work colleagues etc to join in when shopping in a Co-op store.

Thank you to the Co-op and again to all of you who have or will donate.

Just Giving

A very popular way of helping to raise funds for the Team is via the ‘Just Giving’ system.

There are two ways of contributing this way:

If you have a figure in mind and want to make a straightforward cash donation to the Team just click the Donate button at the top of our Just Giving page (link below).

Alternatively, you might want to raise funds via an event that you are going to take part in such as a sponsored walk or some other noteworthy occasion e.g. a sponsored head-shave or some sort of personal challenge. If so, click on the ‘Fundraise For Us’ button, also at the top of our Just Giving page (link below).

If you do either of these things would you please send an email to fundraisers@clevelandmrt.org.uk just to let us know, so that we can ‘thank you’ and also to help publicise any planned fundraising events etc.

Join the team

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.

Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.
