It’s the start of the meteorological summer and also time to reveal the June photo from our 2021 Calendar!
A slightly different type of landscape this month with this shot of the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge highlighting the region’s industrial connections. Very aptly the calendar sponsor for June is the Zetland Group Limited – a planning, safety and environmental consultancy specialising in UK energy related developments – and much more besides. Many thanks to them for supporting the Team in this way.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
