A huge thank you and well done to family Francis. What an amazing achievement 24hrs, each hour running a mile. They have raised £1,191 so far. Great last leg with a few team members clapped back in at Skinningrove. They even finished off with a dip in the sea.
What an amazing achievement by Eva 14, Stan 13 and Angus 10, along with Mum Nicky. Thank you so much to those who have donated. This effort really shouldn’t be underestimated… 1 mile every hour for 24 hours was a tough one. Fantastic role models in their community.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
