Following on from yesterday’s All Kids First hamper deliveries some of our Team members – Jack, Alasdair & Rob – were out again today in Team and personal vehicles. They delivered 254 food hampers spread across seven schools (that’s almost 500 hampers delivered by Team members across the two days).
Plus our friends Scott and Becky from Rob’s company Itchyrobot pitched in with a lot more – and they even brought some of their family to help! Maybe a few more smaller shuttle runs tomorrow to finish off and that will be that!
A great effort by our Team members and our friends and of course Mike Hind and his people and those we mentioned yesterday.Superb work – well done to everyone involved!
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
