Whilst attending the Ardmoor mountain bike event centred on Lord Stone’s Country Park on Carlton Bank we were involved in helping some of the cyclists who had injured themselves on the event. A number of the cyclists had cuts and bruises that were cleaned up with the advice that they visit A&E for treatment.
10 team members were in attendance for 10 hours.
Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
