Rescue – Ingleby Incline

SATURDAY 17TH APRIL 2021

This was the second call-out of the day and our eighth in the space of nine days.

The Yorkshire Ambulance Service contacted the Team at noon requesting assistance with a report of a man who had been taken ill near to Ingleby Incline, a few miles from Great Broughton. Having just returned home and to our Base from this morning’s call-out, a number of Cleveland MRT members were called out again and deployed to the scene.

Upon arrival the casualty was assessed by Team members and shortly after that he was placed in an ambulance for onward transport to hospital. 

Sixteen Team members attended with three others en route although they were not required (plus our call-out officer co-ordinating the response remotely). The incident lasted approximately 1-hour plus additional return travel time back to members’ homes and our Base.
