Monday 10th Sept. Missing 3yr old found safe and well.
We were contacted by North Yorkshire Police at 06.29 to assist with a search for a missing 3 year old girl in the Northallerton area.
10 team members attended the scene, along with our Incident Control Vehicle and a team Land Rover, with other team members on the way.Swaledale MR team were also on standby if required.
Good news soon came in from NYP that she had been found safe and well.
The incident lasted 1.5hrs.

NORTH YORKSHIRE POLICE
The toddler went missing from her home in Swain Court, Northallerton.
She was last seen when she was put to bed yesterday evening, North Yorkshire Police said.
Willow has blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing bright orange pyjama bottoms and a white top.
Large numbers of officers have been deployed in the Northallerton area, and search and rescue teams and the police helicopter are assisting the search.
Anyone who knows anything about her disappearance is being urged to contact the force.

Applications can be made to join the team in a support role (Operational Support) or as a hill going (Search and Rescue) member.
Applications for either role can be made at any time. Intakes for Operational Support members occur at various times of the year. There is one annual intake for Search and Rescue normally each September.

Unfortunately due to the overnight rain with more forecast, today's event at Redcar Racing has been cancelled so we will not be there! Statement from the racecourse:
Unfortunately today’s Easter Monday race meeting has been abandoned.
We are bitterly disappointed that racing is not able to go ahead but there is little that can be done given the amount of recent rainfall this morning.
All pre-paid tickets will automatically be refunded, there is no need to contact the racecourse office.
